St. George’s Friends of Music will host the Memphis Choral Arts with the University of Memphis Collegiate Choir in concert at St. George’s Episcopal Church, on Saturday, April 22 at 4 pm. Back by popular demand, the men and women of Memphis ChoralArts, under the direction of Jeremy Warner, will present a concert, “Loving Composers, Living Music,” performing music written by composers living and creating in the world today and all performed in the beautiful and inspirational space of St. George’s. Included in this concert will be music composed by the conductor, Maestro Warner, as well as internationally recognized composers such as Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, Morten Laurdisen, Ēriks Ešenvalds, and many more. A reception to meet the choristers will follow, hosted by St. George’s Friends of Music. The concert is free (donations accepted at the door) and open to the public.
