St. George’s Episcopal Church, will host the Memphis/Germantown Art League (MGAL) of Memphis’ juried art exhibit from Nov. 2 – 27 in the St. George’s Art Gallery. Judging the exhibits will be Jamie McMahan, well-known portrait artist. A reception to meet the artists and musicians will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 following the St. George’s Friends of Music Concert for All Saints which begins at 5:30 pm and features St. George’s Coventry Choir singing Evensong for All Saints followed by the Rutter Requiem. It is free and open to the public. The MGAL exhibit will include artistic works in a variety of styles and mediums from 30 or more artists. St. George’s Art Gallery is open on Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm with entrance through the church office and Sundays from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
