Organ Concert by Alessandro Bianchi

World renown Italian organist, Alessandro Bianchi, will play a concert sponsored by St. George’s Friends of Music as part of their 2017-2018 concert series. For the concert, Bianchi will be playing music by Bach, Liszt, Marco Enrico Bossi and other romantic and modern Italian composers. A reception to meet the organist will be hosted by St. George’s Friends of Music following. The concert and reception are free (donations accepted) and open to the public. Mr. Bianchi’s visit is also being sponsored by the Memphis Chapter of the Americans Guild of Organists for whom he will conduct a presentation and lecture Monday evening, April 9 at St. George’s Episcopal Church on Marco Enrico Bossi and the organ reformation in Italy.
