Gracious Leadership Training 2017

On Saturday, November 4th, the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee will host a 3-hour course on Gracious Leadership to help teach valuable tools in leading and facilitating conversations in such a polarizing time.  As our society is becoming more divisive, it is critical for leaders to understand how to use tools to engage in conversations with people with different views. During the course, participants will learn how to use processes such as Mutual Invitation and Respectful Communication Guidelines to lead conversations.

“Gracious Leadership is not about holding power over others; it is about knowing how to empower others to share their gifts and experiences and to do that which is beneficial to the community.  They do not hold on to authority; rather they share authority with those who are in the community.”  – Holy Currencies

The class will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Church of the Holy Communion.  While there is no charge for the training, registration is required.   Church of the Holy Communion is located at 4645 Walnut Grove Rd. Memphis, Tennessee 38117. You can register by clicking on this link.

Gracious Leadership is one of the six currencies of Holy Currencies, a model of ministry adopted by the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee.  To learn more visit the Kaleidoscope Institute.
